Spell Design's introduce LIONHEART

Posted on 20 September 2017

Morocco is a land filled with treasures, backdrops of beautiful Majorelle blue and hints of pink against painted tiles make way for marketplaces filled with spices and Arabian rugs and embellishments. It is truly a land for inspiration, and Spell Design’s new collection has well and truly drawn inspiration from this magical land for their amazing collection, Lionheart.

Lionheart stays true to Spell’s original styles and cuts, with a few different spins like pantsuit dreams in the Zahara pantsuit, the beautiful hand stitched coins and Arabian embellishments as well as the Lionheart print, which is created from 3 completely separate artworks, and each artwork has different base colours and different placement print screens – each garment is like 3 garments in one! Or the Lionheart Maxi skirt which has over 10m of fabric in it, it was born to be spun around in!

We could not write this blog post without mentioning the divine imagery Spell has produced for the promotion of this collection. I mean, it is no surprise, Spell Design’s are a label that not only knows how to style a shoot well but understands how to communicate a story through their imagery, and paint that strong, free-spirited woman that the clothes were destined to be worn by. The dusty pink and chalk walls pair perfectly against that of the rosewater hue of the Zahara collection, including the divine Zahara pantsuit and Zahara Midi Dress. The Arabian tiles, bold rugs and bright marketplaces create vibrant, moving visual representations of Marrakech, contrasting against the soft muted tones of the Moroccan collection. The bustling city life, including the smells, sights and sounds become apparent throughout this campaign, giving us total wanderlust and making us dream of these exotic places.
We hope you ladies love this collection as much as we do, so enjoy the imagery and get shopping now
