Dreamy days in the streets of Santorini set the backdrop for gorgeous collection from Arnhem, Nala. Beautiful cobble stone alley ways, white washed houses and azure waters of the Aegean sea make the perfect backdrop for this earthy toned collection, featuring summer staples like wrap maxis, shorts and cute camis. We love the Nala Wrap Maxi in particular, which comes in both kiwi and papaya colour ways, effortlessly chic styles that look divine draped over sun-kissed skin in summer days.
Not only is this collection, and photoshoot, divine to look at, but it is also a collection with an amazing cause. Arnhem has been striving to incorporate a corporate social responsibility plan into its brand, giving back to not only their own community of Byron but the globe itself. They started this initiative by creating eco-friendly bags and also their staff participating in cleaning up the iconic beaches in Byron Bay. Now they are striving to enhance their clothing production by making it more eco friendly. Nala features pieces that have all been made with low impact processes and biodegradable material. The collection is made from two fibres, Lyocell and Viscose by Lenzing AG, which were selected for their low ecological impact. In fact, Arnhem consider Lyocell (TENCEL®) to be the holy grail of sustainable fibres. Lyocell (TENCEL®) and Viscose by Lenzing AG are both of botanic origin as they are extracted from raw wood pulp from responsible source. What we love about this range is that they haven't sacrificed their gorgeous designs and vibrant colours by using eco-friendly materials. It's a win win!
