Having recently returned from a working holiday in beautiful Bali, I wanted to share with you some of the special moments had in this magical place.  Bali has become a home away from home for me, due to the frequent trips taken to source new and wonderful home wares and to oversee the quality control and the manufacture of Cabo Gypsy clothing.

On this trip, I was lucky enough to have the pleasure of my family's company! It was so nice to be able to travel with my husband and daughter to one of my favourite places and show them exactly what it is about Bali that I love so much, and give my daughter an insight into a day in the life of her Mum, the boutique store owner. 

It was important that we found the best place to stay to ensure a great experience for my family, so I spoke to the trusted and knowledgable 'Loraine' from Bali Retreats to point me in the right direction.  Loraine suggested the gorgeous Coral Sands Villa in Bingin, which turned out to be just perfect. We absolutely loved our stay here with the wonderful 'Ibu' who made sure that all of our meals were delicious and that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. 

Coral Sands is only a short stroll to the famous Bingin surf break and we even got the occasional visit from the local monkeys on the way, to the delight of my daughter! 

And of course I had to squeeze in some work on our trip, although we were enjoying ourselves so much lounging by the pool, strolling to the beach, and eating all the yummy food. I enlisted the help of my daughter for an early morning home wares photo shoot to capture the array of Bali bohemian treasures soon available in store and on our website. We headed to Sals Secret Spot in Bingin and when we got there, it was everything we could have dreamed of, and very suitably WHITE!
